Automatic airfresheners

My bro says i have a mental problem because everytime i go shopping I either buy air fresheners or scented candles. I love the air wick automatic fresheners... some are motion sensored and some have timers to release ever so often.

I have one in my bathroom on the towel rack behind the toilet. Since I don't have to stand when going, I never thought about it, but my new bf came over and while he was going--he got spritzed in the face! LOL

Yesterday my bro and my sis went to my our house that was destroyed in the flood to finish boarding it up. While in the bathroom, my sis heard the hissing sound of the dispenser and thought it was a raccoon or opposum! LOL

Do you use them? Do you have a favorite brand/scent? Any funny stories about them?

I do use air freshener sprays in the bathroom but not in the rest of the house. I burn incense a lot, though.

My roommates have a sensor air freshener on the entertainment center. I forget about the damn thing all the time, so when I walk by and it sprays, I jump back a little.

I have one in my bathroom.

I hate artificial fragrances and don't consider breathing such chemicals to be safe. They irritate my nose & throat and I disarm them whenever I encounter them.

At work the B/R sometimes has a can that one co-worker sprays so much it comes out polluting the air in the office. (Srsly, I have to get up and leave for a while)

Those cannisters keep disappearing - eventually the company may quit buying them.

I got one in my bathroom and another on the way going down to the basement.

I guess I was too tired and rummy last night to read this thoroughly. Didn't notice that it's about the automatic ones. Never have tried one of those.

None of the automatic ones, I just use Glade Plug-Ins.
