Con artists

Have you ever known someone who was a con artist? If so, did you ever get swindled by them?

My cousin. She's been telling people for years that she is dying of cancer. Gets people from the church and on facebook to send her money. When I blasted her on fb, she deleted/ignored me. People were raising money for her and everything. She wouldnt pay her rent for months, then would get evicted and the landlord would feel bad cause she was "dying".

Now she is extreme couponing and was just on a news station---u can see the interview on youtube--- where the announcer says "you had kids in wheelchairs, which is why you started this" LIE! when you read the comments, you realize that she promises to swap coupons with people, and keeps theirs and never gives them any back.

she also changes churches all the time when she realizes they wont give her any more help or money. Recently she started an illegal daycare---something that i reported her for. She suffered from munchausen syndrome and her oldest two kids were taken from her for years because of it.

Can't say that I've known any con artists.

This was clear back in '75 when I got 'conned' by a door-to-door magazine seller. Took my money but. . . no magazines. Should have listened to my instincts. I wanted the subscription but also had this "feeling". Remember the guy just as clearly today: Balding, with long dark wavy hair, brown beedy eyes, hawked nose, and a leather vest. Bastard.
