several florists have closed with the failing economy. Do you send flowers as much as you used to? or just for funerals/holidays/bdays?

Special occasions, and even then I try to think of something else. Flowers are very expensive.

Maybe if they lower their prices and especially the delivery charges and taxes more people would be sending flowers. I do but only on very special occasions.

I do sometimes but the last order I did in December for my dad I was very displeased with. They looked like shit within a week.

I don't send flowers. But ya know what.....I was driving in my old neighborhood in BK about a month ago....and I was surprised to see this flower shop that's been there for as long as I can remember STILL in business. My dad said they were there since the 70's. Whatever they are doing to stay in business, they should share with more people. It's just a regular mom and pop store.
