Re: Eyes Wide Shut (1999)
I saw the censored American version. Did a review on it at the time for a nudist newsletter.
The whole premise was flawed, having modern New Yorkers get all bent out of shape because of a lover's fantasy. The story was written in 1926 - attitudes and knowledge about 'fantasy infidelity' have improved since then. Kubrick didn't care for the movie and tried to blame Tom & Nicole for ruining it. He was the director. This movie would have been more real had they made it a period piece in the 1920s.

Re: Eyes Wide Shut (1999)
It was OK but not my favorite Kubrick film.
