    ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Bernalillo County sheriff's deputies have charged Juan Galindo, 37, for the rape and death of his 1-month old infant daughter.

    Deputies responded to a home in the 1900 block of Lake SW around 4 a.m. Thursday after family members called 911.

    When deputies arrived, they found the girl dead. Medical investigators were also called to the scene and will determine the official cause of the girl's death.

    Sources told KRQE News 13 that Galindo, the infant's father, said he was high on heroin and that the baby's mother was at a casino.

    They have charged Galindo with aggravated criminal sexual penetration and child abuse resulting in death.

    Family members told News 13 the mother and father had been together for about a year.

    I can't think of a more repugnant story. They won't fry him unfortunately. I have lived in New Mexico and believe me they brag about being like a 3rd world country and liking it. I remember one time there was a shoot out in which a 6 month old baby was killed, the shooter maintained it was self defense and got a month in jail for each month the baby lived. In other words 6 months for the murder of the baby.

    WTF is going on with all these sexual abuse stories against infants? This makes me sick to my stomach, I wish they would throw this guy off a cliff somewhere, scum like this does not deserve to live.
