Some guy called to order a pizza and the lady on the other end taking the order punched his name into the computer and was able to see all his personal classified info about health history, financials and so on. She was asking him about it as she took the order. The joke is Big Brother knowing all your info online by just typing your name into the computer.

It was an audio scenario whereby the patron ordered a pizza over the phone, and the pizza place was able to see everything about the caller, based on the caller ID that was wired into the computer by national system of number assignment to each person in the country. Your address, health history and pretty much everything right down to how often and what color your shit is, was available online.

It was a concept of what could come down the line in the future, but the arguement lies in two places:

1. It'll never happen because of the violation of privacy that it promotes, or

2. It will happen eventually because of advancing technology and even to stretch a bit---the whole Biblical "Mark of the Beast" thing, where at some point in humanity, no one will be able to buy, sell, or survive without the "Mark" on the forehead or wrist, be it some number assignment, in the form of a tattoo or embedded microchip.

Thats pretty sick.

I thought it was really interesting and a total possibility until they reached the medical stuff. Then it was pretty far-fetched. But I can see a tremendous amount of personal info on databases according to our phone number. It is already that way and only stands to get worse.

That was creepy.

Just around the corner. It will not be long before our lives are cataloged and posted on every major company's web server. Time will tell..

I've been saying for years that today's children will enter adulthood having no clue what "privacy" is. What used to be a right is becoming closer to obsolete each decade.
