In my town we have McDonald's, Dairy Queen, KFC, Subway, Sonic, and Taco John's for fast food places...last week KFC and McDonald's were both closed and they're going to be torn down so bigger versions of the restaurants can be built... what the fuck?! but anyway that means until the destruction and construction is complete, all the people who ate there are either going to have to improvise at the remaining restaurants, or actually stay home and cook. This should be interesting, glad we don't eat at either place.

One of our Mickey D's was recently rebuilt from scratch, but luckily we have more than one, so only thing customers were disappointed about was to have to drive a little more out of their way for their big macs.

We have plenty of fast food restaurants, and my roommate does all the homecooking, so I don't really feel the pinch when one shuts down.

It usually doesn't take them long to rebuild & it's probably more cost effective than moving to a new location. When people can't go to one they just go to another. Then when the new place opens they are even busier than before.
