I am not squeamish sometimes I may get a twinge of it but most of the time I am not. Must be all those slasher movies I have seen over the years.

Having worked in nursing you lose a lot of that squeamishness. If you are squeamish, NEVER invite a bunch of nurses or EMT to lunch, because they will discuss the most disgusting things and be unaware of it.
Once when I had cable access I was watching a show on Discovery about surgery, with all the close up bloody shots while eating a spaghetti dish with tomato sauce - and it didn't even register that this could be upsetting to a lot of ppl.

Well, I wouldn't want to be in a Civil War field hospital but I can tolerate most unpleasant sights and smells.
