| Does anyone else find "Leap Years" to be slightly annoying? 2012 is a leap year. Why do we need an extra day in February? | |

Well, we need it to adjust the inaccuracy of a quarter day a year in our calendar. | |

| How do people born on Feb. 29 regard their birthday on non leap years? Does it revert to Feb 28 or Mar 1? | |

I have a cousin whose birthday is February 29. On non-leap years he celebrates it on March 1. | |
