I have a dyson animal which i really like, but i hate the extendable wand. It is a long stick that the attachments plug into, and because it is a stick, it is not as maneuverable as some other vacuum wands that are just the long flexible hoses.

what kind of vacuum do you have and do you like it?

I'm not sure actually what kind we have, I'll have to look sometime at the actual brand name, but I do like it.

One of the first bagless vacs on the market. Still kickin & doing the job.

I have a Hoover Windtunnel, canister-style. I do like that one, and it's my third one since getting married; I vaccuum so much that I tend to burn them out every 6 years or so.

I also have a Hoover Steamvac, which I love, and I shampoo my carpets once a month with that, to get out the deep-set dirt and dust that the regular vaccuum may miss.

I have a Hoover Cannister Vacuum that I bought about 6 years or so ago, its great!!

I have a big upright that my daughter got me to replace the little electric broom. It may be a Bissel and has those brushes that dig up the dirt. I only have one room of carpet and am lax about vacuuming, but when I do this machine picks up everything.

I also have one of those little dust buster type vacs to clean up the cracker crumbs around my desk chair from my daily snack.
