When I was in school, one of the boys at the top of our class wanted to attend a clown college in Florida. His parents insisted that he attend regular college and get a degree first, and then they would pay for the clown school.

If your child wanted to do this, would you allow it??? And considering that you would be stuck paying for a majority of it---yes you do have a say!

I would morally support my daughter in whatever path she chose in life (well, except prostitute or drug dealer and the likes of those. . . ), but financially, I draw the line at "conventional". I'll pay for a worthwhile college major, but something completely unconventional, that fits more into the category of "Hobby", as far as educational classes, she can do and pay for on her own time with her own money.
