LTROI is a Swedish film and LMI is an American remake. A bullied boy begins a strange friendship with a girl who isn't what she seems. Despite the subtitles I think I like the original better.

The Swedish version was good, but I personally related more to the American one.
Somehow despite the bizarre story, the Swedish one felt 'foreign' which is distracting while trying to immerse into a movie.

Funny I just saw the Swedish version the other night for the first time. I didn't realize it was a re-make. I thought the swedish version was very strange, besides the sub titles the acting was pretty bad. I like the re-make better but overall Its not a movie I would care to see again either version.

I've seen let me in, and enjoyed it, didn't realize it was a remake either.
