| When I was in 10th grade, my bf had Sega and let it stay hooked in my room.

| Not sure if my first could be called a "system" per se. it was the Radio Shack TSR80 computer and those fabulous metallic tapes...remember those? Then I traded some friend a bike for the Commodore 64.

| mine was THE first game system.... the Oddessy -- it could only play Pong and a stick figured basketball game and in black and white.
Then we upgraded to an Atari 2600 and a commodore Vic 20. I still have them... In 83, the commodore 64 is what got me online for the first time!!! What fun that was... but it took soooooo long to upload screens.

| Technically, the first one that was bought SPECIFICALLY FOR ME was the Super Nintendo. However, my brother had an Atari that I played and when he got a Super Nintendo, he passed his Nintendo to me. I got a lot of hand me downs. | |

Mine was the 2600 series, which was very similar. I later got the 7800 and most of the 2600 games worked with it, but some of them didn't.
