    Chris asking about the meat market prompts me to ask, does anyone here ever buy from a fruit or vegetable market?

    There's one by my house, but I rarely go there because it's one of those "street market" type places....with just a tent over it. I like stores.

    I believe FRESH fruits and vegetables are blasphemous here in North Carolina. Finding fresh is like finding a pot o' gold at the end of a rainbow. I miss the great fresh fruit and veggies that are sold in the norhern states. We used to shop at Randazzo's in the Detroit area all the time. Monthly trips to Eastern MArket downtown Detroit is the only way to go---shopping starts at 5:00 am and goes until 9:00 am or so and ends with breakfast at the Market Resturant...
