In my early years I wanted to think the briefcase was all that. I eventually learned the are useless and once I started using a backpack, I never looked back.

I carry my briefs in a courier bag strapped to my shoulder while biking to work.

(yes, I carry my 'briefs' because I wear them at work - but bike commando)
