    12:30 a.m. PST, January 30, 2012
    GLENDALE (KTLA) -- A 34-year-old man is facing indecent exposure and drug charges after allegedly driving around town naked from the waist down.

    Police initially pulled Umar Khan over around 2:30 a.m. Thursday on Doverwood Drive for running a stop sign.

    When they approached his car, officers noted Khan wasn't wearing pants or underwear, according to their report.

    Khan allegedly told police: My thing is the freedom.

    Police arrested Khan on suspicion of indecent exposure, possessing methamphetamine and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

    According to investigators, Khan often drives around late at night without his pants on looking for a place to masturbate, Sgt. Tom Lorenz told the Glendale News-Press.

    He reportedly prefers driveways and residential cul-de-sacs.

    Khan has a previous conviction for indecent exposure in 1998.

    Well, driving drunk and possession of meth should be more than enough to slap serious charges on him. And if this is Glendale, California then I'm surprised of indecent exposure charges (I thought anything goes in the Golden State). In Oregon a person would have the right to drive naked as long as there isn't even a hint of lewdness associated with it.

    He's the same sort of man who exposed himself to my 1st grader about 47 years ago. Guess what it is against the law to do that. Fortunately she thought he was just being a "big baby".
