Yes I used to watch this show a very long time ago. It was about a one-time basketball player who couldn't play anymore after a knee injury, so he returned to his old high school to coach basketball. Basically a dramatic and more "ethnic" version of WELCOME BACK, KOTTER that centered around the school gym.
It was a really good show. Very dramatic in an urban "late 70's" kind of a way.

I sometimes catch reruns of it on ESPN Classic. It's actually an alright show. Before my time, but yeah....
