A very intriguing movie, not one of his more famous ones like Phantom of the Opera and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, but one that is definitely worth seeing. Playing a man who as a boy had his legs mistakenly amputated by an incompetent doctor and grows up seeking revenge, he shows off one of his more committed film roles. To look the part he had his legs tied behind his back and wore a leather harness that was so painful he could only wear it for 10 minutes at a time, and suffered permanent muscle damage in his legs as a result of it. Truly a very talented and committed actor, and this movie deserves more popularity than it has.
