| What kind of boxed theater candy is your favorite? I LOVE the chocolate covered chocolate chip cookie dough bites. Also Swedish fish and DOTS. | |

| Red Vines. Last time I went to the theater they didn't have it, so I'll just smuggled some in.
Snowcaps, Sugar Babies, and Good 'n' Plenty are sometimes chosen, too.

| Goobers, hands down. I always go to WalMart or Target BEFORE I hit the movie theater. My mind can't process paying a 400% markup because I'm too lazy to drive across the street. | |

When I want something to eat I smuggle. No way I'm paying those prices.

I carry food in my purse ALL the time and it used to embarrass my ex to no end! And I apologize to anyone who believes that damages capitalism and whatnot, but I don't give a FUGG. God gave me breasts so I can wear a bra to the club and hide teeny tiny $1 shot-sized liquor bottles in my cleavage, instead of paying $6 for a daggone rum and Coke.

I have always tried to get brave enough to bring a flask in a bar (less now as I don't go out much at all) to save on the crazy drink prices. I always bring bottled water into places because I am not going to pay $3+ for a bottle of water if I am catching a game or other event at a large venue.

| You wait...there's no law against sneaking your own snacks into a movie but you wait, next thing they'll do is the theaters will enforce a policy to check ladies purses and stuff on the way in to make sure they're not bringing any food in with them. That's what I look for to happen. | |

I am actually surprised there isn't already a "no handbag" rule at theaters. But I guess they probably couldn't enforce that anyway. They must just realize the small handful of people who do it is not that big of a financial blow when they are charging up the ying yang for popcorn and fountain soda.

| No kidding, smallest popcorn is about $4, smallest soda is $3, and it IS small, what the hell? It's no wonder people say the movie theater business is going to die out because who CAN afford that? People have a hard enough time affording the tickets. | |

Well, they do that at the sports arena here. It's actually to inspect for weapons but if they find candy bars they are confiscated, too.
