Anybody here ever see this movie in their youth?
A lot of people love to go on and on about them screaming child abuse and psychological abuse and blah blah blah, scare tactics, fear is bad, all fear is abuse, blah blah blah...personally I think if I would've ever seen this movie and its sequels as a kid, I would've liked them. If nothing else I would've found them a HELL of a lot more interesting to watch than the Bible story cartoons we had, I never got through those because they were so boring.
Personally, I like these movies more than the Left Behind movies, and Left Behind is not a Hollywood movie but it's more Hollywood than these were because you can see, it's not big budget, no great effects, no professional actors, a grittier and more realistic look and feeling to them.
