    Today I was at the local high school and I saw a sign on the wall regarding yearbooks. They are $47 each!!! ($50 if not ordered by a certain date)

    I am shocked they cost that kind of money. Mine were $20. I can imagine so many kids don't get one due to the cost. That made me feel very sad because I am such a sentimental person and I would have been so sad to not have a yearbook each year.

    It has been so long I can't remember. Musta been $5 or $10 - but that was a lot of money back then. Of course it was printed in B&W. I still have it and it is falling apart after only 50 years.

    My 10k gold class ring cost $15. I remember that because I earned that to pay for it.

    But gotta say, this pic that somehow got past the adult watchdogs made it worth it. You have to remember that these were very innocent times.

    SOmething like $30? The high school I am teachng at had an introductory price of $50 from September to November. Now they will cost $65 if ordered before March 29. After then they will be sold for $70.... Bullshit

    I don't quite remember....I think it was like $30 or $35.....but yeah, $70 for a yearbook is fucking RETARDED. I never had to pay that much for any yearbook.

    In junior high, I believe they were around $20, and in high school around $45.

    It was expensive for it's time. It was 1970 and I think it was in the mid-$20's.

    I guess our HS yearbook is a big deal since it was awarded TOP 5 in the country...OOOOOOh..still not worth $70

    Zth, that is crazy how much those cost.

    Shale, LOL at the pic. We had to stop doing the "last will and testament" section to our yearbooks a couple years before I was a senior due to all the innuendo in them. Some 30-somethings complained to the school about what was allowed to be put in the books all those years ago. We had to fight just to keep the ability to place a quote under our Sr. photos.
