My take on this is someone who is anti-porn should discuss this before marriage.

But then there would be the instance where one would get into watching porn years after marrying.

So, does a spouse have the right to say "no way" to porn viewing?

I think every spouse should be free to discuss their feelings & concerns. But "forbidding" is dangerous territory. Some people don't want to be treated like a child & will rebel. It's the kind of thing that could cause resentment that will lead to problems in other areas of the relationship. There should be a calm mature exchange of opinions, but in the end grown people should be able to make decisions for themselves. Truthfully not all porn is "bad", "evil" or "demeaning" as some people think. Maybe something the anti-porn spouse might consider is watching it together. They should never be forced or pressured into it but they might be surprised. As long as it's not an obsession that is damaging to the relationship I don't see a problem. But if that's the case there are issues there that go much deeper than watching porn.

You cant "forbid" an adult to do anything. Better to just make your feelings about why you dont like it known and hope they respect it enough to go along with it.

co-signs

CeCe said it all.

I married at 35. What my wife saw was what she got and I was not about to change or let anyone 'forbid' me from doing my thing. (Some women actually like a man with balls). I like porn, am inquisitive and on occasion we would watch a video while making out (almost like group sex). She was not threatened by my enjoying porn. (I also wrote porn and have since done some porn fotos). To me it is just intimate sharing.

No. Unless they've got a porn addiction, I don't see the point in making it an issue.
