I've gotten two really bad cuts. About all you can do is wait for it to grow out & not allow them to do that again. Color is a little easier to fix. Total PITA but doable.

I tried to give myself a haircut when I was 9, my mom about lost it when she saw what I'd done.

I got one really bad cut. I wear my hair very short, and the bimbo cut it long in the back, I mean really ugly and charged me more than my regular barber (who was out with surgery on her rotator cuff). So I went to another barber and he fixed it for me, and he charges me 3 bucks less that the gal who used to cut my hair and 8 bucks less that the bimbo! I changed barbers, and I really liked the old one, but the new fellow does as good and doesn't dump a shitload of hair down my back.

In high school I asked my stylist for highlights. Didn't really know his idea of "highlights" was to just paint the solution on my hair in huge streaks and hope the color came out right. I had a big ass streak right in the middle beginning as gold at the scalp and ending as a dark copper! I just rocked it like it was a style LOL

Yes, tried bleaching my hair with an at home lifter. Didn't go so well, I had bright blonde and orange spots all over. I called my hair dresser and book emergency appointment.

Yeah....a few. It's never really that deep though. I just don't pay for the cut and never go to that barber again.

Fortunately, no. I have had a stylist cut off more of my hair than I wanted her too....but it wasn't that bad. It grew back.

No when I get a haircut I usually get it cut low all over and that can't be easily screwed up. If they do, then they can most likely fix it.

Spiral perms were big back in the 80's when I was in high school, so of course, I had to get one. Big mistake--my hair was naturally wavy to begin with, and the perm on top of that made me look like a lamb's ass until it grew out.
