Fortunately we have never had to do that. I would go to my bank for a loan if need be. It is such a vicious circle when people start using those pay day loan outfits. Friends also got prepaid credit cards with low limits and paid the payday loan outfit 17 bucks a month for a $50.00 prepaid credit card. I had a fit, told them they could buy prepaid credit cards in almost any store for about 4 bucks. Then finally they went to the bank put out $500.00 for a prepaid credit card that would also help them build their credit rating. Those outfits are as bad as the local furniture store that won't tell anyone the price of any item in the store.....they rent the furniture in a rent to buy scheme, people end up paying thousands of dollars more for anything they buy in those stores!

No. And I agree that they are ripoff's. The cost of getting one is........naw. I'd sooner borrow money before I got a cash advance on my check.
