| It became a shrine. Pilgrims came from far and near. OK, so my mother sold the house not long after I moved out so it stayed basically a bedroom. | |

| I never had a childhood bedroom. I either slept in the living room or in the all purpose room that served as my bedroom, the dining room and once a week the laundry room. | |

| Well, the house where I lived as a kid has been sold. My mother moved to FL like two months after I came back to NY but my room was still the same. She sold the bedroom furniture though. | |

| It remained a bedroom that was never used except when I visited her. When she got Alzheimers her live-in caretaker slept in it. The house has been rented out to the same people for over 15 years. | |

| When I moved out, I took 90% of what was in my bedroom with me (including the bed.) It just became another empty room in the house. | |
