If ever you run into someone you used to know, who is your age, are you ever surprised by how much older or younger they look in comparison to you? Last week I was sent a friend request on FB by someone who was in my graduating class and was stunned by how middle aged they looked in their recent pictures. On the other hand, about a year ago I saw someone at the gym who I went to school with, and it was like time had stood still for them.
I guess this is just the irony of what it means to be a thirty-something. Some of your peers look ten years older and others still look like they're in college.
