I think I saw it on DVD once - kinda disturbing as I recall.
I remember when this movie came out and the posters were very intriguing of the entwined black & white fingers.
That subject was explored in an interracial foto series by Ralph M Hattersley jr in Ralph Ginsberg's Eros 1962.
This was really cutting edge in-your-face fotos at the time (consider that interracial relations were ILLEGAL in 17 states at the time). The fact that it is a Black Man with a White Woman made it even more challenging to white bigots.

The drug addicted brother really got to me. When he danced for his mom before getting drug money...it was so upsetting to me.

LOL, I know Spike got the right "brotha" to play that role. It was a good flick though. Sam Jackson and Halle Berry had the best performances.
