I don't think I could make the call for just one but I could narrow it down a little.

Like Shale & Alan, it's not really possible to name just one.

Tommy Castro - Right as Rain
Bruce Springsteen - Darkness on the Edge of Town
Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble - In Step
Old Crow Medicine Show - OCMS
Etta James - The Definitive Collection

There are definitely others but once I get started...

I pretty much love my entire music collection, but two that I'd never part with are:

    1. "A Letter From St. Paul" by The Silencers---an 80's alternative band, and I had a hell of a time finding that one on CD, since the vinyl version I have was originally an import.

    2. "Wait Til The Morning/Leaving Time" by Winter Hours---another defunct 80's alternative band who's stuff is out of print. By chance I ended up becoming Facebook friends and occasional email pen-pals, with the guitarist/creative force behind that band, and he emailed me digital versions of many of the songs off those two albums, so I made my own CD out of them.
