Are you late a lot? Do you think that you should be disciplined for being late to work a lot by maybe getting docked for the time?

I usually get to work about ten minutes before my start time. Depends on the weather, but my job is very close to my house, so it takes only a matter of a few minutes to get there.

I have always been punctual no matter what my work was. It is just my nature to show up on schedule.

Unfortunately, I often have to work with ppl who don't subscribe to that work ethic. It is a problem when you have to depend on undependable ppl or work shift work with a late relief. Those ppl should most definitely lose pay and probably face firing if the boss HAS to pay overtime to the person detained.

I'm usually 1/2 hour early. I don't punch a time clock and no one breaths down my neck anyway. Maybe if they noticed that I was habitually late.

Yes, and I don't get paid for being late, I start getting paid when I get here and clock in.

I'm normally about 1-2 minutes late. There have been a few times where I had to take time, but not because i was late--I just had to go to the bathroom a lot during the day. Hell, I AM a female.
