Sunblock - lotion or spray? Empty Sunblock - lotion or spray?

It's already time here to break out the sunscreen or we're all gonna be burnt. When you use it, do you rub on the lotion or just spray it on? For years we used the lotion, and it worked but it was getting very expensive, $10 a bottle and more money the higher the SPF, now we buy the 70 in a spray can for $5 and it works just as well. The one I can't understand, standing in line at the grocery store we were right behind the lotions, saw a sunblock SPF 8, WHAT THE HELL?

I don't use a sunblock. The last time I did it was an SPF 8, just for those times that I could not get in the shade after my alloted time in the sun.

I am good for up to two hours sunbathing in the summer, then I start to burn. I just spent an hour and a half on the beach yesterday and got a glow but nowhere near a sunburn. Tans are an SPF - that is why we do it. I try to maintain a base tan even in the winter so that I don't burn when the summer sun gets up in the sky.

I grew up in a So. Calif. beach town, I now have to watch for skin cancers and have had some removed. Canadian doctors are always shocked, now we are getting South African doctors who aren't surprised by skin cancers at all. So yes you bet I use sun block.

I use both spray and the rub on type. I like Bullfrog because it's a gel and doesn't feel as oily to me. The spray is handy to do my back if I'm by myself but I think more gets wasted.

I've never seen Bull Frog in the stores.

I don't like the spray. I use lotion. I made the error of not using it this weekend. My cheeks and neck got burned and I am just noticing it tonight.

I love the spray, instead of that thick lotion you have to rub and rub and rub to finally get it in, just spray on the stuff and go, that's how I like it.

I probably never found a good spray. I always feel it to be too oily. When my son was young, I loved it for him, as it was easy.
