| Have you ever said to a friend or family member that you would rather not be in their wedding party? | |

| Ironically, we missed our daughter's wedding because the mother-in-law took it on herself to change the date, which kept all the bride's out of town family from attending. We were in town but so pissed that we blew it off.
I had even bought a suit and black shiny shoes for the occasion. (The 'pleather' shoes finally split this weekend while wearing them at my grandson's wedding. They were a couple years older than him) | |

| I did that with my aunt's wedding. She decided to ask me to be in the wedding when a friend if her daughters dropped out at the last minute. I'm your niece....your OLDEST niece at that.....and you're going to make me an afterthought after you asked every other family member and your friends? Fuck you. That's why I went to the wedding and drank up all their liquor. And didn't buy a gift. | |

| When I was a little kid of about eight, my cousin wanted me to ring bearer in her wedding. I wasn't thrilled about the idea, but got roped into saying yes. I complained incessantly to my mom about it until finally she got me out of it. | |
