While under the age of eighteen, were you ever propositioned by an adult?

When you were a kid/teenager, did an adult ever flirt with or proposition you? If so, did they know how old you were, and how did you respond?

Yes, yes and I ignored it.

Yes, and I played with the idea for a bit, never took it far. That's one of the ways I was able to drink when I was younger.

I did and it was pretty creepy. It was the brother to someone (an adult) I knew. He was in his mid-20's, white trash, and I wasn't even 14 yet. He literally wanted to have a relationship with me and told his sister and she warned me. She knew I wouldn't ever be interested but strangely didn't fully grasp that it was wrong. She was more upset by it in that she thought I was way too preppy to be interested in her pot head brother. Ironically, he began dating a different girl who was a year younger than I. And his sister supported that relationship!

Nah, as a teen I was a skinny, nerdy kid who didn't have a G/F, just fantasies.

One time at a matinee movie in a small-town Mississippi theater some guy sat next to me and put his hand in my crotch. I got up and moved.

So, guess I was attractive to SOME adults as a pre-teen.

When I was 13 years old I was propositioned by an older man. He knew exactly how old I was. I gave in because I was afraid he would harm me in some way, even though he was not menacing and did not threaten me. Its a long interesting story.

Yeah, mostly by internet predators in the old AOL teen chatrooms. I kinda knew what was up, though, because their typing dialect was way off to be fraternizing with 13 year olds in a normal setting. They pretty much all sounded like they would be on "To Catch A Predator."
