Do you consider flirting with people online while in a relationship a form of cheating? Have you ever done it? If your partner did it, would you be upset?

I wouldn't do it and I wouldn't want my partner to do it either. I don't think it should be officially called cheating, but it is wrong and crossing a line.

co-signs Not necessarily cheating, but an obvious sign of disrespect. One I wouldn't do to my SO.

Flirting, without intent to ever connect is innocent and ppl single and married often engage in this ribaldry. Especially online where ppl are hundreds or even thousands of miles apart.

If married, I wouldn't hide it from my partner. Never did, and that was with flirting IRL.

I am not in a relationship but I flirt with this young co-worker who is. Fact that she does not want to do grampa keeps it safe.

(Hell yeah I'd do her luscious bod if given the chance - I'm old not dead!) Blue Cool

I don't think its cheating unless you act upon it in person. I am guilty of it myself and if my partner did it I don't think it would upset me much because we have mutual trust.

I don't have a problem with flirting up to a point.

It all depends on how intense it is. If it's casual flirtation, then no big deal. If it's cyber sex, then I do consider it a form of cheating. It's real easy for that sort of thing to start out small and then escalate into something bigger.
