Still too conservative in some parts. Society is a lot dumber in general too.

Too conservative and scary that religious fanatics want it more so. We are quite culturally backward when compared to European industrialized societies. Has been that way in my lifetime.

Well, I don't like the backlash that's going on now against women's reproductive rights. That's a conservative manifestaion but there are liberal ideas that I can't stand either like political correctness. Depends on who you ask. Conservatives will say we're too liberal and liberals will say the opposite.

Way too conservative , here in Canada too. They talk a good talk about smaller government but do just the opposite. Making laws against women especially,reducing regulations that are meant to make the earth a safer better place, they spend money like drunken sailors and love war.
