I was talking to someone today who works in the O.R. as a tech. She said one of the surgeons today was really superstitious and warned them all not to mention the date prior to the surgery! Not sure I would have wanted to be the one on the table!

Well, my day was super lucky, so I suppose this means superstitions only have effect when you pay attention to them? I also spit a couple times, so that might have protected me.
