    I've only had it as a juice or flavor. I've never taken a bite out of a piece of fruit.

    Here, they call it Fruta Bomba. Look at the pic. Go to a Cuban neighborhood and mention eating papaya and the guys will all snicker. big grin

    Yeah, I like it. (Both eating papaya and fruta bomba)

    BTW, it is good for digestion and papain is the active ingredient in meat tenderizer and some tooth powders. The leaves can be used for detergent effect. Ppl grow it in their yards here.
