| Would you drive a previously owned vehicle?
I'm thinking of buying a new car, but I saw one I really like that's 3 years old ('09) and only had one previous owner. The car I have now was bought brand new so I sorta feel like I'd be going backwards to buy used, but I really like this car...and it's sitting on the dealer lot, which is a plus. I'm not looking at something from a used car lot. | |

| There's nothing wrong with buying used if you get some kind of warranty with it. | |

| all but this car have been used. Take it to a mechanic you trust and have it checked out... if you dont know a mechanic, then take it to a dealer of the original manufactuer----if its a ford, take it to a ford dealer. I always buy an extended warranty on used cars which can run over a thousand and different warranties have different deductibles which will change the price of the warranty. If the loan is a three year loan, I generally get a three year warranty, so the length of the loan is covered. i even bought a car once that was a recovered theft. it was completely stripped down and EVERYTHING was replaced... so although it was 7 yrs old... my car was "new" and it was the best car i ever had! good luck | |

| You might want to check out www.edmunds.com ---great site that has a lot of good info on buying a car, new or used, and can guide you through the process of researching the particular vehicle you have in mind, to see if there's any funky stuff going on with it or not. | |

| I would go for it if the car is in good shape. | |

| If I was in the market for a brand new car, used would most likely be out....but if I was looking to save some money, then I would consider it. Just depends. | |
