There's nothing wrong with buying used if you get some kind of warranty with it.

Take it to a mechanic you trust and have it checked out... if you dont know a mechanic, then take it to a dealer of the original manufactuer----if its a ford, take it to a ford dealer. I always buy an extended warranty on used cars which can run over a thousand and different warranties have different deductibles which will change the price of the warranty. If the loan is a three year loan, I generally get a three year warranty, so the length of the loan is covered.

i even bought a car once that was a recovered theft. it was completely stripped down and EVERYTHING was replaced... so although it was 7 yrs old... my car was "new" and it was the best car i ever had! good luck

Yes I would, provided that the used car was in good shape, i got a good deal and it was what I was looking for.

You might want to check out www.edmunds.com ---great site that has a lot of good info on buying a car, new or used, and can guide you through the process of researching the particular vehicle you have in mind, to see if there's any funky stuff going on with it or not.

I would go for it if the car is in good shape.

If I was in the market for a brand new car, used would most likely be out....but if I was looking to save some money, then I would consider it. Just depends.
