Yup - a smoothie - that seems to be my typical breakfast but it's quick and easy and can be taken on the go

Yum...yes, we did. My guy always makes breakfast when we are at Dad's. It is his "thing". So, today before we left, he made a nice breakfast and it was so good.

Yummy Redbedroom! My Dad's breakfasts are the BEST!@ I love being home for the holidays because he'll usually make breakfast, esp. on Christmas morning - that's tradition.

Haven't had breakfast yet, but probably cheese eggs and French toast. My daughter is here and has extravagant breakfast tastes; normally I'd be having cereal and coffee.

During my four workdays I have one hardboiled egg after a cup of coffee and on Oreo. That is my routine. BTW, it is a time saving routine - I boil the four eggs on Sunday and keep them in thr fridge. Each morning while drinking my coffee the egg is in a bowl of hot water, so it is warm when I eat it.

But weekend days I have either a cheese omelet or like this morning, fried eggs and grits. (And for you yankees, grits are not served in a bowl with sugar and milk, but on the side of the plate where you mix the egg yolks in them)

Sometimes have Cafe au lait with a couple of Oreos after the eggs.

LOL I been eating grits since I was a little boy. Ok here is the story when I was a kid I used to go to my friends house every sunday morning and have grits and eggs with his family. I was unofficially adopted into the family. I loved my grits and eggs and when they moved away I was very sad but I still had my grits and eggs from time to time.

I think offhand I may have heard of bacon flavor grits. I usually eat mine plain, with lots of butter. Some people actually sugar to them, but I'm not quite that country. lol

One was Cheese flavored and I forget what the other was. My favorite is still plain with butter, have never tried sugar, sounds sacriligeous!
