No, they're not making a movie sequel, but I did hear they are building another ship that replicates the original Titanic and calling it 'Titanic 2.' Would you take a cruise on this?

Re: Titanic 2
Probably not.
Never been on a cruise before. I'm not sure how I feel about being days at sea.

Re: Titanic 2
There actually is a sequel called Titanic II with Dylan Vox (not Brad Benton lol) & it's pretty bad but watchable. It's actually the same concept. Guy builds a ship that looks like the original, bunch of people buy tickets & well...
And no I wouldn't.

Re: Titanic 2
I think it's sacriligious to even think of building a replica of the Titanic and naming it accordingly, just as I feel the same way about them rebuilding the World Trade Center's twin towers.
Both events were catastrophic to the point that they should just not be touched, and left as "sacred" for those who died in each instance.
The Titanic and the WTC are resting places for their dead, and should be left alone and not disturbed in any way.

That's spooky, but consider the original ship that sank was actually Titanic 2.
There was a book that preceded the actual ship where the set up was this huge modern ship the Titan, billed as unsinkable and filled with very prominent ppl then sunk.
IDK if I would tempt fate on a re-creation of a real sinking that was a re-creation of a fictional sinking.

Re: Titanic 2
This topic reminds me, that I read a good book, last year, about a woman named Violet Jessop, who was a maritime stewardess for White Star Line, and survived both the sinkings of the Titanic and the Britannic ocean liners.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Violet_Jessop
Gotta give her credit for getting back on a boat after the first sinking--I don't think I would have the balls that this woman did!

Re: Titanic 2
I would be hesitant, but depending on where it's going I may consider it. The name in creepy, but this is 2012 not 1912. This new cruise liner is 100x more state of the art and secure.
