HomeBesides Chinese food joints, are there any places in your area that you like that serve food/cuisine from other counties? There's this Arab cuisine place not too far from where I stay that I keep saying I'm gonna check out one day to see if I like it.

I did try Thai food for the first time a few months back. I enjoyed it but just haven't been able to make it back. And another that serves Greek food, which is fantastic.

Off the top of my head, Thai, Portuguese, Japanese, Mexican, Indian, Greek. Nothing to comapre with NY and Tony's list.

Not Chinese food joints? Dang! What about Japanese food? Or Italian food? Or Jewish food?
I think there're a few places that serve Indian cuisine around but I've never been.

Of course there is. I like Jamaican Flavors and The Door, which is right down the street from me....which serves great Caribbean food and there is the this one Indian spot that I like as well, as well as an Ethiopian restaurant that I should be going to more often. Basically anything I want, I can get.

In my area its the usual Italian, Chinese, American but in Manhattan, you have the league of nations to choose from.

In my neighborhood of North Beach are Argentine, Brazilian & Peruvian restaurants. The rest of Miami is Comidas Cubanos.
