Because none of them really trust each other, and for the most part I can see why. Brody and Natalie think—rightfully so—that Jessica is too fragile to handle knowing that they slept together, and that John's ego is too sensitive. Meanwhile, Jessica is so unsure of herself that she has no faith in others, in this case Brody.

Because none of them have told the truth since this whole mess began. Natalie and Brody says they didn't hurt anyone because they were broken up but still lie and keep that secret. They are afraid they will lose their mate if they tell the truth.
