Yes one of the top drawers in the kitchen is where we keep all the miscellaneous batteries, pens, rubber bands, flash lights and such. I guess I could also say the bottom drawer on my nightstand is a "junk drawer" too, because I got all sorts of random stuff in there that probably needs to be thrown out.

Not exactly a junk drawer, it holds the clips for opened bags of chips, etc, my pot holders and kitchen tools I don't use very often. I have several junk drawers here in the computer room.

Yes and no. One has a lot of junk but it's specific stuff intended to be in it. I don't have a free-for-all drawer to toss whatevers in it, and I wish I did. A storage tub would do but so far don't know where I'do put it.

I forgot the pot that sits on our coffee table, it collects odds and ends, like rubberbands, the screwy things that hold arm chair covers down, etc.
