We are thrilled that some of our favorite young performers were awarded for their hard work and terrific performances at Sunday afternoon’s presentation of the 33rd Young Artist Awards at the Sportsman’s Lodge in Studio City California. The Young Artist Awards recognize the accomplishments of young performers in feature film, television and live theater.

In the Best Performance by a Young Actor in a Daytime TV Series category, it was a tie! And who better to nab the prize? None other than the two guys front and center in Llanview’s bullying storyline, Austin Williams (Shane) and Andrew Trischitta (Jack) of One Life to Live!

Ah, I had a feeling they won something due to KDP's tweet. Congrats to them! (Although AW and AT are on such different acting levels that having them tie is a bit of an insult to AW, but I guess it's something.)

Now the next step is getting AW an emmy nom.

I knew you would be happy about AW winning but AT thats another story. By the time the show ended his acting had improved but during the Bullying storyline he was god awful.

We have to wait and see who the emmy nominations are now.

^^^^I am happy for AW. He deserved it, if only for the roof scenes. AT DID improve but I don't think he ever got to the level of award winner, and certainly not in the same league as AW. But hey, AW won, so I am happy.

Dont think AT got a pre-nom so AW, IMO, is the only one from OLTL with any real shot at a nom. (CD from GH is a definite nom. Hopefully DG doesn't take up a slot.) I think AW should get the nom. If his work this year doesn't merit an award, then to hell with the entire system.
