    Have you ever had someone persist in making unwelcome advances toward you? If so, how did you react?

    When I was in college, I worked a part time job at Waldenbooks. This very eerie middle aged guy, who came in on a regular basis, would just leer at me with these predatory glances. Sometimes it was from the side of his eye, other times he'd be more blunt. When he saw that it irritated me, it exhilarated him more and he turned up the volume on his gawking and started adding little cocky smirks. Occasionally, he'd come to the checkout counter and buy something silly, with that smirk on his face, while saying nothing much. This all went on for weeks. One day he got a little too bold and brought to the checkout counter an adult mens magazine. On the cover, two guys were suggestively posing next to each other, and he asks me what I thought of it. I told him I knew the magazine cost $5.99, and that if he approached me like that again, I knew that I was going to punch him in the jaw. Then with that same smirk on his face, he mouthed this "heh" sound and walked away. Didn't see him again after that.

    When I was about sixteen, a friend and I were riding the bus downtown to a concert, and this creepy middle aged guy with finger waves kept on trying to holla at us...with suggestive innuendo about having us both in bed. To get him to stop, my friend told him how old we were, but he didn't care. After a while, we just started playing along with what he was saying, while not-so-subtly mocking him in the process. Soon we were very obviously making fun of him, but he seemed to enjoy that. Finally we came to our stop, and you should have seen how fast we hightailed it off of the bus.

    Yeah I got a story....

    On the first day of school my sophomore year of HS, we had a half day. After school I took my dog for a walk. So we're walking, and pass this disturbed, monstrous looking old man (between the ages of 75 and death.) He stops me and asks if I'm "looking for love." Man I was so shocked that all I did was say "nah, I'm good" and kept go on going. The more I thought about it, the madder I got....by the time I got home, I really wanted to go back by where that old pervert was and rock his mouth (with my fist.)

    When I worked for a cable company, the female marketing manager was super sensitive. The printer we used was a total sleaze and had a huge snake in his office and always asked Candice and I, if were there alone or separate, if we wanted to go see his snake, and he said it as if he may have meant his "other snake". It was really sleazy and he was always trying to put his arm around us and was really inappropriate.
    I really was not all that bothered by it, but Candice was. So, she spoke to our company's owner and said I felt uncomfortable going there also. It really was messy for a while because the print shop owner was our company owner's friend from high school. So, he really did not want to do anything about it, and that infuriated Candice and I was caught in the middle.

    I have a hard time imagining myself being sexually harassed because if someone propositioned me, depending on how they look I'd either play or if I wasn't interested I'd just tell them to go fuck off in a way that they wouldn't wanna keep on trying.

My wife works in a male dominated industry and although she isn't "harassed" there are some occasions when someone will make a double entendre or something and she smiles sweetly and gives it right back at their expense. What's kind of funny is some of the guys are afraid of her because of her temper.

    I have been hit on but always felt that was to be expected. When I was a young security guard at a hospital an older male nurse made suggestive conversation with me and once tapped my butt. I eventually got so drunk I ended up in his bed, but too drunk to do anything (was the first time I tried tho).

    When I was discovering my bi-side, a flaming gay man who hung in our crowd kept hitting on me, even groping me physically. I eventually fucked him in the butt (several times) - so guess it pays off to be persistent.

    Oh one executive director who was also my friend offered to suck me off in his office, but I felt that would be inappropriate. He never pushed the issue.

    Nothing on the level most of you have described but there was this creepy old guy in my apartment building who kept making advances on me - always stopping to talk, wanting to "high 5" me, even if my hands were full of groceries, asking me out for coffee. I finally went to my manager - found out she'd already had to speak to him once before. She said that he was mostly lonely, as his wife worked and I guess he didn't, so he was always looking for people to hang out with. She said to come to her if it happened again, but it hasn't.
