| How do you feel about polyamorous relationships (relationships that involve more than 2 people.) Do you think it's possible for that kind of a relationship to work....are they as sincere as 2-person relationships? Would you consider ever being in one? | |

| I've known ppl in poly relationships. They are more difficult I think than pairs, but doable. Need lots of communication between all involved. I could see it - not everybody can get all their needs met by one other individual so either a long-term poly or open relationship would work. | |

| I would never be in one. Seems like they're destined to leave someone ultimately betrayed and left out. | |

| I would never want one myself but I think it could work providing the 3 involved were perfectly honest with one another at all times. You have to have a huge wall of trust for this type of relationship to work out. | |

| i heard one woman say that she thought it was the best relationship because when she came home from work, she had a wife that did all the cooking, cleaning, and child rearing for her. Her exactly words were "what woman wouldnt want a wife??? its awesome".
i think there would be many issues involved tho:
1. jealousy 2. divinding up time to meet everyone's needs 3. most men cant handle ONE wife, so how would he handle 2 ganging up on him during an argument 4. women who live together often get on the same cycle, so bitchiness, emotions, and lack of sex would occur at the same time! LOL
but good luck to all consenting adults who can make it work

| I could never do it. I would be too worried about being the favorite and it would end up totally dysfunctional. | |

| Only seems appealing in theory. I'm imaging that IRL it'd become a hassle after a while to try and simultaneously maintain 2 girlfriends/2 wives who know about each other and at some point will begin to compete and look at me like the judge. | |

| Ain't for me, I can tell you that. No way in Hell would I want two men under foot, no matter how well we'd all get along. I would have to end up killing one of the bastards. As for women, I don't think I could roommate with one, let alone with sharing my husband with her. | |

| Notice how it's always 1 man and multiple women? Let's see the reversal, with 1 woman and multiple men that all know about each other. Bet that wouldn't go over so hot! | |

I've thought about this before and never came up with any cultures that do this. I'll have to check it up online. The one problem I can see with these arrangements, is not knowing which man got her pregnant.
