Yep. It's kinda boring to me....maybe it's because I'm not a smoker so toking up doesn't appeal to me. The only thing I liked was the belly dancing.

I've never been to a Hookah Lounge, but I've smoked through Hookah bongs before

I don't really smoke, unless it's hookah. It's fun just to chillax with your friends with a cider drink and some awesome flavor of tobacco. I am embarrassed to say I know less about it than I thought. I didn't know it really gave people a buzz of any sort.

I guess I don't understand then, why Bryce said it was the next best thing to getting high. I always thought it was more like a relaxation thing. That must be what is getting lost in translation between what I think and what Bryce said.

been a few times. It is relaxing in the sense of drinking & chatting .... I've enjoyed it but the next day not so much.

I'm sure it's cuz of the tobacco, it can relax you...plus it tastes good as well.

For someone who doesn't normally smoke, and who is drinking at the same time, and enjoying the experience in a relaxed environment with fruity flavors, it's "like" being high without actually being high.

I believe that would depend on the kind of tobacco your smoking. It would leave any toxins tobacco would leave behind. The tobacco does look weird though, like all gooey and shit.

I've tried other flavors (but can't remember flavor names) and they are really good. It's not harsh like smoking a cigarette either.

You can drive home. Hookah tobacco isn't considered to be a "mind altering" drug anymore than ordinary tobacco. Being that it contains nicotine, it is a stimulant although it seems to have a calming and relaxing sensation on your nervous system and enhances the effects of alcohol. Because it's diluted and filtered by water and flavored, it's not going to leave a strong odor in the air or on your clothing. It's basically just fruit flavored tobacco smoked through an apparatus that filters the "harsh" sensation of smoking, while preserving the effects of the nicotine and the pleasant flavor. You're mostly doing it for the taste and somewhat for the nicotine effect. It presumably leaves the same toxins in your body that smoking a cigarette would. But unlike smoking cigarettes, hookah isn't the type of thing that you do several times a day. It's more of a go hang out on the weekends and chillax at a hookah lounge before hitting up the club, type of thing. It's not going to kill you and you're not doing it enough to get addicted to it.
