    Question Anyone know how to grill a good steak?

    I like mine well done but somehow manage to over cook it. Some friends like theirs rare but I always end up making it well done. Is there some secret to getting them rare and well done so its not like shoe leather?

    I like mine dry rubbed first. However, I don't grill steak often.

    There are websites that describe the finger test but I like a good visual. It's something you learn over time without even thinking. Hope it helps.

    First you light the fire, charcoal or lava rocks / gas.

    Place raw meat on the flame.

    Wait 2-3 minutes and flip

    Wait 2-3 minutes and remove from flame

    Close to mine. It's already dead. Doesn't need to be killed twice lol
