RC is such a hack writer that it wouldn't surprise me if he tried to re-write history and have it be this whole, huge storyline that happened. He's erased the crimes of a whole bunch of Llanview ctizens and portrays them as good people who arne't at all bothered by their crimes. He's turned David, Viki, Charlie and Dorian into total jokes, with no regard for the intergrity of their characters. He clearly has no clue about the history of OLTL and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he totally messed with history and made it this big storyline that we're just supposed to accept as if Eli has been a huge part of Vange's life in the past.
