You got anything in particular you plan to do next Monday?


Barbecue, and if the weather ain't against us, my mom and I are going to put the tent up in the yard and camp out.

yeah... sun/mon are supposed to be my days off, so my "holiday" is saturday---- BUT the damn post office decided that after 15yrs of service, i should be forced in for all three days!!! so i called out yesterday and today! f@#$'em

If the weather is nice I might go hang out on SoBe just watch the crowds that come here each year for Urban Beach Weekend a sorta HipHop fueled craziness.

The locals aren't too happy having a quarter million ppl with attitude descend on the city, but what can you do. Well, the cops are already implementing plans to redirect traffic and get the word out that there is no tolerance for any lawbreaking. Maybe this year they won't shoot anyone.

Didn't you post pics of that last year, Shale? I seem to recall it and enjoyed seeing them. Of course, I could be confusing it with another event.

As for my plans, on Monday, I will visit my Grandfather's grave. I have to find out if Dad has bought flowers. Otherwise, I will.

I am so happy to have four days off, but am getting a cold so I hope it doesn't amount to much.

Monday? I work. Hopefully someone will be kind enough to deliver some bbq goodies to me

back in the OLD days... one of our supervisors would bring a huge bbq that looked like an oil tank cute in half on a trailer... he would set it up right in the parking lot.. and we would have us some good bbq! chicken, burgers, dogs... all the fixin's!! he used to make his own chili and bbq sauce... and then later we would all go out and watch the fireworks

then management changed and the bastard actually put monitors on our door badges to see how often we go outside the building!! even if im OFF the clock and i go outside too many time, they bitch!

Hanging at the pool all three days and Belmar Saturday night.
