Here is my suggestion box suggestion....

Chris, Cheaps is May's member of the month and it is a cool idea to have a member of the month. On other threads, the member of the month is stated then that member has to answer (with total ability to plead the fifth) to any and all questions from other members.

It makes member of the month so fun. If Member of the Month opts to not answer a question, they should not be dogged. But random questions should be replied to.

What do you guys think of this?

Guys, we did this on another site and it is quite fun. We all have to be kind and not ask really burning questions and because we all know each other, it's cool. We won't ask Super and FM the same caliber of questions we ask Wants2 and Shale!!

You know that reminds me of something, probably more suitable for another time and place, but why is it that confession only works for Catholics? We' all Christians but unless you follow this SPECIFIC brand of faith, they don't think they can do anything for you, like they think they can actually do anything now, ha ha.

Cool. Works for me. Sounds like a good way to further get to know the person. So next month we'll try that.

How is it chosen and have I ever been in it? Will I ever be in it? Does it require going to forums outside of Alcove?

Thus far, the 'Member of the Month' (aka 'Thank You…') has simply been someone who was an active, enthusiastic presence that past month. Tony and I have so far chosen them based on that, primarily. No, it's not necessary that this person post in any other areas besides the Alcove. Since the Alcove is basically the epicenter of the Chamber.
